I really enjoyed reading Douglas Adams' books. You re-read Hitchhiker's or the Long Dark Teatime, and there are things that were mentioned and didn't matter, just fleshing things out or providing some humour and then when you go back and read it later it's a bunch of new moments of recognising things that come up down the line and it changes how the story feels, and I found that to be a lot of fun (and a bit like getting two stories for the price of one). I can remember a perfectly silly amount of trivia and details, and in a perfect world, I like things that don't *require* you to (that'd be work; it's supposed to be fun), but maybe give you an extra bonus if you do. (Ginger wants her biccy... lol 🍪)
