The biggest problem for me is wording things in such a way, or providing enough other material, that it isn't always completely obvious what will come in the chapter. I tend to spend a good day writing the Previouslies for each chapter. (Totally didn't expect that, tbh.) The other part of the battle is fishing out what we'd need to recap.
