I think anyone who has ever actually had a furball in their lives knows that they are a good deal more ‘present’ than Crooks was in canon. They don’t just fade out, exit stage left because you’re going camping. And if you have a *half-Kneazle*, surely s/he’s a force to be reckoned with. (Think Storm...)
I figure if you combine Dobby’s confidence and utter lack of conscience with the sneakiness and plotting sixteen years of serving the Head of Slytherin must bring with it... Well, that’s Sunny in a nutshell. (Except he also enjoys watching cooking shows. Possibly Delia Smith... definitely Mary Berry.)
