If she won’t be permitted to do an apprenticeship anyway, then there’s little point to selecting classes the way Tracey does and more to just doing what she likes and finds interesting. And she finds a lot of things interesting. (Naturally more so if they’re colourful. 😉)

Nah, he wasn’t properly appreciated and not good at joining, which made him even easier fodder for the Death Eaters. (Gotta give it to him, when he finally *does* join something... hmm.) In fact, I believe nowhere in canon is it confirmed he was even a member of the Slug Club. There’s a prop photo he could have been in, but I believe it’s left unclear.
