Ooo! If your bestie *does* decide to read it, which (ngl) would be lovely (readers! w00t!) (and thanks for the rec 😊), one thing I'm trying to do to improve (re-)readability is work with the tags option LJ provides. Because the first 100 odd chapters were written on AO3 without the ability to put in individual chapter tags, they don't have too much by way of that going on yet. Any suggestions she'd be willing to make in the comments about tags for a chapter would be super helpful. (Ultimately, I'm shooting for being able to click 'severus and hermione', say, and then getting the list of all the chapters with their scenes together, or 'snakes being snakes' or... you get the idea.) Yeah, I'm shameless. 😉 I own it. *nods*
