Oh it is bliss to read a chapter like this, just straight-up SSHG awkwardness! Both so into the other and so convinced the other is repulsed by them. I love being in their heads and knowing exactly how their thoughts progress and the realizations they make that cause their reactions, which in turn confuses the other and makes them even more unsure of things. You're brilliant and I loved this!!
