Ahoy, Rebecca! No worries, still alive and kicking. Got slammed and have been squeaky-wheeling things. I think from tomorrow I actually had a bit of free time, so I'll see about getting the next chapter up before the Christmas crunch. (Ironically, fewer comments leads to less productivity. So..... If I make you laugh, giggle/snort or cry, be a love and maybe mention it? It's writer's crack. Makes a good many of us more prolific.) To tide you over in the meantime, there's my Christmas story from last year christmasspirit.livejournal.com (now a series of three oneshots), bits and bobs, including the story of Severus' last day at Hogwarts ('milestone' over on gingerbredshaus.livejournal.com) and I've inadvertently started writing short stories to go with my advent calendar. gingerbred.livejournal.com/tag/adventskalender (no explanation for it, it just sort of happened). Current head canon (to my own advent stories... yes, that's weird.) is Ms. Bred is a heavily glamoured Hermione gone back in time. (I'm quietly confident they'll eventually become my grandparents, if only because I'm the lady at the keyboard.)
